Description of Flight "Schaffhausen"

Enjoy a 120-minute flight in the direction of Schaffhausen. Starting in Friedrichshafen, you will fly in the direction of Immenstaad and then cross the lake to the university town of Constance with its landmark, the Imperia at the port entrance. Situated further to the west, you will see the vegetable island of the lake, the island of Reichenau. From there, you will fly along the Rhine passing Horn, Gaienhofen, Steckborn, Hemmenhofen and Wangen to the small town of Stein am Rhein. Flying via Gailingen and Busingen you will reach the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. It is an amazing view to see 600,000 liters (158,500 gallons) of water per second falling down 23 meters (75 ft). You will then fly in the direction of Singen. Enjoy the magnificent view into the Hegau and be fascinated by the Hohentwiel fortress. Flying along the northwesterly shore (Überlingersee) and passing Sipplingen and Überlingen you will reach Uhldingen-Mühlhofen with its open-air museum, where you can see 20 originally equipped, reconstructed pile dwellings from the Stone and Bronze Ages. On this route you will pass the colorful flower island of Mainau with its 45 hectares and a greenhouse with thousands of butterflies. You will then fly back to Friedrichshafen via Meersburg, Immenstaad and Hagnau.*

Important note:

A passenger must be able to walk in normal speed about 30 yards over grass to reach the stairs to the airship and to step up and down the stairs on his own that might be moving. In case this requirement cannot be met, we will unfortunately not be able for safety reasons to transport this passenger. We reserve the right for a final on-site decision on the day of the flight, even if this requirement has been regarded as being achievable during booking.
