The Zeppelin shipyard

Measuring 110 meters (361 ft) long, 69 meters (226 ft) wide and 34 meters (111 ft) tall, the hangar of the Zeppelin NT is one of the largest halls in southern Germany. Opening hours and prices for single persons

We offer shipyard tours from April to October. The entrance is always combined with a guided tour.

* on presenting the flight ticket within one week after the flight
** school children, students, trainees and severely disabled persons with their corresponding pass

Advice: Combination ticket Catamaran – Zeppelin shipyard

Comfortably travel to the shipyard and save up to 20% – with the "Catamaran combination ticket": Catamaran from Constance, bus to the shipyard (line 5) and shipyard tour at Zeppelin. The combination ticket is available for adults (€ 23.50), children from 6 to 14 years (€ 12.80) and families (€ 59.80 for two adults and up to three children). The Catamaran from Constance at 3:02 pm is a favorable way to get to the shipyard tours (Tuesday and Friday, 5:00 pm). Arrival at Friedrichshafen is at 3:48 pm. Take bus line 5 at 4:13 pm to the fair ground ("Messe"). Arrival at the bus stop "Zeppelin-Halle" is at 4:25 pm. After the 45-minutes tour there are busses at 6:02 pm and 6:32 pm, which take you back to the harbor. The Catamaran to Constance leaves at 7:02 pm.

Combination tickets are available at the Catamaran Office until 12:00 noon of the respective day. The combination ticket includes the registration for the guided tour. For more information: www.der-katamaran.de.

Tours for groups with a maximum of 20 persons are offered Monday through Friday from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. On Sundays and public holidays tours are offered for an additional charge. The entrance is always combined with a guided tour.

Our guided tours are also offered in English, French, Spanish or Italian. Additional charge for foreign languages: € 30.00 per group.

Groups need to register in written form one week prior to the requested day.

Cancellations are only possible in written form. Last-minute cancellations necessitate a cancellation charge.

In case of cancellations...

• within two days before the scheduled tour, it will be cancelled without additional cancellation charge.
• one day before the scheduled tour, we will invoice half of the respective minimum charge.
• on the same day of the scheduled visit, we will invoice the full minimum charge.
